Custom items can be deleted (archived) from the AccuSite. There are several reasons to delete a custom item

  • Remove the barcode associated with the item so it can be used for a new item
  • Ensure users do not add the item to the units
  • Start again by adding item information to update unit of measure and other critical information. 

 


Steps to delete a custom item

IMPORTANT NOTE: A custom item can only be deleted/archived if count is 0 at all sites

  1. Reconcile the item at all locations to 0
    1. Items can only be deleted if there are no quantities on hand
  2. Login to AccuSite
  3. Go to Settings > Inventory > Item Master
  4. Search for the item (or find it in the list)
  5. Select View Details
  6. Scroll down to the Item Package Information section
  7. There is an Archive button, click that to clear out the item information
    1. If the Archive button is not there, that means there are still quantities on hand, or it is not a custom item
