Pierced, partially used multidose vials can be loaded in AccuVax ES to capture doses remaining and pierce date inputs so proper tracking can be performed when needed.
Users are provided this new option during the load process after capturing the multidose lot and expiration.
- On the “Is this correct” screen a user can select the “Load partial vial” button, which prompts them to add the doses remaining and vial pierce date.
- Users enter the doses remaining and vial pierce date, which checks against the beyond use date for the vaccine.
- Once the details are captured the user can load the partial multidose vial, and AccuVax will track those details going forward.
