Users now have the option to either load M-M-R II with the diluent component or store the diluent component separately when loading into AccuVax ES
The options exists after scanning the MMRII package or vial, on the the Is this correct? screen.
Located at the bottom of the screen there will be an option to select the Diluent Stored Separately. When enabled, AccuVax will track the active component only and the user can store the diluent outside of the AccuVax, such as on a shelf or cabinet.
When the diluent is stored outside of the AccuVax, the MMR card display will represent that with a shaded 2nd vial marked with a "D".
To track and store the diluent along with MMR, simply do not enable the option, the AccuVax will expect the MMR vial and diluent to be placed in the unit when loaded.
